ROCCALUMERA:
Roccalumera is a town of nearly 4,000
located in the Messina province, few metres a.s.l. The town is a pretty
agricultural centre, laid down on the Ionian coast. Important is the
production of citrus fruit, olives and grapes, which are displayed in yearly
Festival of Verdello that takes place in September. The name of the small town
derives from several mines of alum present in the territory. The first village
was founded by knight Don Giovanni La Rocca in 1608. To see: the Torre di
Sollima, in Saracen style and dates back to the XV century, and the Church of
Arcangelo Michele. Characteristic in the village are two manifestations said "Palio"
and "Minipalio" that take place every year in July and August.

This
apartment is situated on the second floor and available to rent for short or longer periods at
Roccalumera in Sicily; it's only 20 minutes' drive
from the Taormina centre, 30 minutes drive from the station,
80
minutes drive from the Fontanarossa International Airport (Catania).
It is a nice apartment with all modern
conveniences in a quiet neighbourhood where you can get away
from it all. There are two
double sopha'
bed and four other
beds so up to 8 people can stay in
the apartment.
The apartment includes a cooker, household articles, cutlery and
crockery, and more besides. Rocchetta flat is
situated in a residential area with easy access to the
shopping center at walking 8100 mts9 distance of the beautiful
beach and the lively centre. In three
minutes walking you can rich shops, the beach,
restaurants, a tourist information centre, and more.
Around, the area offers a number of beautiful
walks . Discoteques and touristic attractions area
vailable in Taormina at 11 km away.
The beds are made-up as in a hotel; washing machine
is available.
IMPORTANT:
Price include heating, electricity, gas
and
bed linen (only for 1 week); towels, hand towels are
supplied according
to your needs and are included in the price;
cleaning equipment, cleaning of apartment on departure of guests.
